ESA 2009 will be held at the Grand Hyatt Washington which is centrally located in downtown Washington, D.C. at 1000 H Street, N.W. Centrally located in Penn Quarter with convenient in-lobby Metro Center access, this hotel gives you the opportunity to explore the U.S. Capitol. You will only be a short distance to the White House, U.S. Capitol Building, Historical Monuments and Memorials, Smithsonian Museums and the International Spy Museum.
The cut-off for making reservations at the ESA group rate has passed. The hotel currently has rooms available, however, not at the group rate. If you need to make a reservation, please call the number below and mention the ESA 2009 meeting.
Lodging Rate
US $229 per night plus 14.5% tax for single occupancy
US $254 per night plus 14.5% tax for double occupancy
Additional person fee: US $25 (per person/per night)

Please make lodging arrangements early as space is limited. The cut-off date to make a reservation has been extended to Sunday, April 19, 2009.

All deposits and inquiries should be sent to the Grand Hyatt Washington and NOT to ESA 2009 or Centennial Conferences.

Rates do not include applicable state or local taxes or surcharges. The current tax rate is 14.5% but is subject to change.

Payment of one night's room and tax must be provided upon making reservations.

Check-in time is after 3:00 pm and check-out time is prior to 12:00 noon.

A deposit of the first night's room and tax is due fourteen (14) days after the reservation is confirmed by the hotel. Deposits are fully refundable if a reservation is cancelled three (3) days or more prior to the arrival date. Personal checks, money orders or a valid American Express, Diners Club, Visa or MasterCard are accepted.

Cancellations will be accepted up to three (3) days or more prior to the arrival date. Within three (2) days of arrival, deposit of one night's room and tax will be forfeited.
Sharing Rooms
Roommates and guests are the responsibility of each individual. If one person cancels, the other(s) will be charged the full rate.
